The throw is indeed soft, but I expected so much more from a Beautyrest product. Was able to get one of them to work, but the warmth wasn't throughout the throw, but just in small areas which you had to feel around for. The other throw didn't work at all. Had it turned on for about 30 minutes laying flat on the bed and nothing!! Was so frustrated with the results from the first two that I haven't even tried the third yet. Not happy!! :(

This product is a bit of a joke. The blanket fabric is good quality, but the heating ability is pathetic. It only gets about 5 degrees warmer than the blanket would be without turning on the heat. And that is on the "high" setting. The company called me and asked a few questions. I asked a few back and found out that this blanket only gets up to 75 degrees. I'm from Arizona and that is not what i call "warm". I would expect at least 90 degrees. This really only does you good if your house is like 50 degrees on the inside, and at that point would you be reaching for a blanket or your thermostat?
